Clooney confesses stalling The Ides Of March
 George Clooney states he held back on making his political thriller The Ides Of March since the climate was too hopeful within the wake of Barack Obama's rise to energy.  The actor/director told USA Today the mood wasn't back then &ldquofor a cynical political movie. The cynicism appears to possess return.&rdquo The story, which is dependant on a play known as Farragut North by former political staffer Love Willimon, follows an idealistic youthful campaigner (Ryan Gosling) who will get a quick studies in dirty politics while employed by a presidential candidate (Clooney). Clooney states have proven the film to reps from each of the primary US political parties. &ldquoRepublicans hate the start of the film, the Dems hate the finish. Therefore we&rsquore good,&rdquo he joked.  Philip Seymour Hoffman, Max Minghella, Evan Rachel Wood and Marisa Tomei also star.  The Ides Of March arrives for release in United kingdom movie theaters on 28 October 2011.
