What is the name of this character or the actor in TV soap Emmerdale?

I've not watched Emmerdale for ages, so I don't really know the new
characters in it.

But it's on in our house today and I recognise one of the characters
from somewhere.

He's been in today's episode sitting in a cafe talking to Katie and
her friend.
He's got dark hair and he was wearing a grey suit.

I just recognise him from somewhere, so if someone knows his name in
the soap or real life, then that would be great.
